Message during upload of commodity codes

Hello All,

When I am trying to upload the commodity codes in GTS system getting following message.

A newer version has already been loaded; activity not permitted

Message number: Message No. /SAPSLL/CORE_LLNS262

Does it mean commodity codes already available in system? Can some please let me know what does it mean.

Sasikanth,

Seems like your system is already uploaded with later version than the version you are trying to upload.

Easiest way to see the last uploaded version is to go to Search Upload Logs, this option is available just right below the upload commodity codes from XML file option.

To see the older upload history do give the wide date range and then execute.

For any reason you still want to upload the older version then just un-check the nomenclature check Active check box and system will allow you to upload your files.

Hi Sasikanth,

The error message is fairly self-explanatory, but technically...

For each uploaded version, an entry is made in table /SAPSLL/CORULOBJ.  During a new upload run, the version number of the file (the numeric characters in the filename, immediately before the .XML extension) is compared with all previous entries in that table.  If the system finds an earlier version already recorded, then error message 262 is issued.
