Maximum character limit size reached.Contact your BusinessObjects adminstrator.(Error. ERR_WIS_30272) in SAP BO Lumira 1.30

Hi All,

When I try to connect Universe in SAP Lumira 1.30 it shows following error,

Universe created from SQL Database, it contains 5,90,000 records.

When try following SCN links not solved my issue,

SAP BO Version : 4.2

SAP Lumira Version : 1.30

Chandra,

     You need to first Install the UNX Query Panel Extension

Update the " SAPLumira.ini " file located C:\SAP BusinessObjects\Lumira\Desktop, as per SAP note & SCN blog (see sample of working copy)

Create using UNX Query Panel.  This options will also allow to REFRESH in BI LaunchPad

Current Lumira has Row limit when using UNV file, DOES NOT support refresh in BI LaunchPad.

Thanks for response.

When I installed UNX Query Panel Extension and changed Lumira file as shown above.

Lumira connect universe(it contains 5,90,000 rows) is loading not completed.

Chandra,

     You also need to update the SAPLumira.ini file as shown above and RESTART Lumira.

The sample of above file is from working Lumira v1.31.1 bringing back over 8,000,000 Rows.

As my problem solved.

When I connect to Universe in Lumira(Universe mode)

Before connect universe, when i changed Web Intelligence Server as shown below,

and universe contains 2 Lakhs records.

Please note that with BIP 4.2, you should also be using Lumira 1.31.x as 1.30 id not supported with BIP 4.2
