SAP TREX Installation error

Hi Experts,

I am doing the TREX 7.10 installation for MDG Product on Windows2012 server, I have received the below error.

Hi Karthik,

You are facing the problem , because you have manually created the user sidadm user in the system.

To resolve the problem , you have to follow the Mikhail solution and he is right as i did the same thing when i hit the problem.

my trex patch level: 7.10 and 69.

already i had disabled the  Windows firewall settings.  how i can disabled UAC policy?

Hi

1. About Windows UAC refer the link Disable UAC Windows Server 2012 | Turn off User Account Control

2. On Windows have you disable the password policy?  Trex instance SIDADMM & SAPServiceSID as part of local administrator group?

As I checked UAC policy is disabled and sapsid adm already in administrator group.

Still i am facing the same problem.

Hi Karathik.

1. Are you starting the Trex Installation through local administrator user id or equivalent ID?

2. SIDADM & SAPServiceSID passwords are same?

Hi Karthik, based on the installation.log you didn't set the password as a part of command line . You need to install the TREX as following : start the CMD/Power shell with option run as administrator  type install.cmd --action=install --logdir='C:\\Program Files/sapinst_instdir/GENERIC/TREX/APP1' --sid=TRC --instance=02' --password= --target=X:\usr\sap --host=DC2SMDGV01 Please be sure that the password is the same as already set for the existing local users trcadm and SAPServiceTRC . If these users don't exist yet you need to take into account special rules specified on the Windows side for the passwords validity (f.e. length of password, using of capital letters and special characters e.t.c.) . The parameter target is only required if there is no saploc/sapmnt share on the Host yet . Otherway the TREX installer still will use the existing one ! Best regards, Mikhail

thanks sriram, i did the trex installation as local admin user group, now issue has been resolved.

Hi Karthik..

1.  Have you disable the firewall and UAC on Windows OS? what is the SP level? it should be Trex 7.10 SP60 & above ..

2.  Could you share the full log as attachment? log file location C:\Program Files/sapinst_instdir/TREX/install\_install.log

3.  Check this SCN thread
