Possible to Maintain E-Mail Distribution List via IDM?

Hello all,

is it possible to maintain E-Mail Distribution List of an Active Directory or MS Exchange via SAP IDM 7.2/8.0 ?

Hello Amir,

yes.

When you import them into IDM, they are treated just like any other privilege. Adding and removing members works the same as for other AD groups.

Hi Amirahmad,

If you are using Microsoft Exchange then the distribution lists are stored in AD as Distribution Groups, which as Steffi says, can be easily maintained in IDM.

Groups strictly in Outlook cannot be managed this way.

This might be covered somewhat in the AD tutorials.
