SAP Fiori Appliction access with Communication User type

Hello All,

We have a large number of user base in the shop floors and can't afford to have the dialog user ids for each and every users.

We have an Embedded Gateway deployment scenario and would like to roll out a custom Fiori Application to all the shop floor users by creating the communication users in the back end ECC System which are license free.

Please let me know the issues in having the Communication User type to access the Fiori Launchpad and the applications which will be communicating to the back end via the OData Services. Will it work without any issues?.

Hi Sekar,

You need to check it with SAP Sales. It may violate with the license agreement.

If users use some UI, it means they do some dialog activities.
