Transport of Themes - designs are not visiable in QA

Hi,

i have the problem, that the transport of custom designes show nothing. I create a theme in DEV system an transport it with tcode /UI5/THEME_TOOL to QA system. Everythiong seems to be good, but after i changed the launchpad design in browser there is no design.

What can I do to get my custom designs in QA system?

Problem solved. Another SICF service must be started. Now it works.

Of Course,

in DEV you must activate the service /sap/bc/theming/themes.

Then everything in DEV is ok.

Bit in QA and PROD un need /sap/public/bc/themes as well.

Then the transported designs are shown in launchpad.

Hi Thorsten,

Did your custom theme ever work in QA? did it work at first or it didn't work from the beginning?

i'd suggest you invalidate the cache. Using transaction /UI5/THEME_TOOL, list the report and at the very top you will see 4 blue buttons (not quite buttons), Refresh, Invalidate Cache, Upload and Support. Hit Invalidate Cache, clear your browser's cache and then try again.

Is the standard theme not working either?

What is your SAP_UI version in the gateway system? Also is the UI Theme Designer version same in DEV and QA gateway systems?
