PI system performance in javastack

Hi Friends,

We are using SAP PI 7.4 java stack.I have a requirement from the client for PI performance in terms of data consumption,message count and the current PI size.

As around 50 new interfaces went on live.So client is particular about this new message volume and the capacity of the PI system.

Are there any tools or reports available to prepare the statistics of PI system everyday and also interface wise report?

Hi Pushpalatha,

You can try the below option.

Configuration and Monitoring (Home) -> Adapter Engine -> Message Monitor -> Message Status Overview tab.

Under this, specify the required time range and click Go.

The resultant list can be downloaded using the Export option in the same page (just above the list).

In the downloaded excel, filter according to your requirement.

Tried just now, can filter interface wise messages in that excel.

Are you getting message size and all in that?I doubt you will get it.

Yes we do not get message size in that way, we get only message count.

For message count as well as for message size Praveen's suggestion was helpful.We can get both here.

we have around 70 to 80 interfaces and I want to prepare a report for message count of each interface daily.

In performance monitor, I get total message for a particular time interval, I did not see any option there for interface wise.

Could you help me.

Select the Interface in the drop down list see the last screenshot in the list.

You should get interface wise list.

attached is the screen shot of advanced selection in performance monitoring, here I need to give each  interface details manually to get message count. Since we have lot of interfaces, it is very tedious job.

Guess there wont be any list for multiple interfaces.

You can select one by one or based on time interval.

As far as I know there is no such option in PI

Might be u need to build a custom one.
