Hi Gurus.

I am facing a issue during the update to SP14 on Sap Solution Manager 7.1. Currently I am on the  Phase: MAIN_NEWBAS/PARCONV_UPG_DS and I am stopped in this phase.

The  message  SUM showed is:

Checks after phase MAIN_NEWBAS/PARCONV_UPG_DS were negative!

Last error code set: Unhandled mode flags found, check 'PARCONV.LOG' for details

Trouble Ticket Generation

A trouble ticket and an archive with all relevant log files have been generated.

Trouble ticket: "Z:\SUM\abap\log\SAPup_troubleticket.log"

Log archive: "Z:\SUM\abap\log\SAPup_troubleticket_logs.sar"

Repeat phase MAIN_NEWBAS/PARCONV_UPG_DS to continue at the point it stopped

Initialize phase MAIN_NEWBAS/PARCONV_UPG_DS to restart it from the beginning

INIT

I  selected the INIT check, but the error back.

I searched in the log 'PARCONV.LOG' and I found the information forward:

Connect to the system and see if there are any dumps (DBIF_DSQL2_SQL_ERROR) in Tx ST22.

If yes look for the below error

>>The error 207 occurred in the current database connection "DEFAULT".

Error Text of Database: "[ASE Error SQL207][SAP][ASE ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Enterprise]Invalid column name 'TYPE'.#"

SQL Statement Responsible:"SELECT ( CASE WHEN ( t1.sysstat4 & 1 ) <> 0 then 'PAGE' ELSE 'NONE' END ) FROM sysobjects t1 WHERE t1.name = ? AND t1.TYPE = 'U' AND t1.uid = ? "<<

If yes then you need to follow the solution provided in the note
