Hi All,

I am trying to create Idoc_AAE to File using Iflows, but I am not able to create Iflow as there is already one Iflow exists which carrying same ECC system and Idoc which I am trying to use....

How can create new Iflow with same sender details.

Regards,

Rashmi

Hi Rashmi,

If we think logically it is not relevant to create more than one Iflow for same IDOC.

Generally, we use our IDOC_AAE common channels for sender and receiver both as connecting to our ECC system.

Like, In your case if say INVOIC Idoc is being sent from ECC system and you create 2 IFLOWs to which flow the IDOC will point to? It is impossible for the IDOC to move further when reaching PI so it is always suggested to use one flow only.

You can add your receivers and if you want to test something else, you can probably stop your receiver channel(first flow - already present one) and move further.

Thanks,

The one another option you can consider if you want to share the same Sender System + Sender Interface ( IDoc ) across multiple ICO is to use the Option - Sender Uses Virtual Receivers

This will work for a NON LS Sender Partner Type / Receiver Partner Type/. If you do this, PI will look at the Idoc control record and check if the RCVPRN / RCVPRT have a corresponding Party in PI and then check for ICO using this Party.

To enable this featute you can refer to this thread : Do note - if you enable this feature using the SAP note: http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1941832

you will impact all running scenarios. Read through the discussion in this threads in its entirety to understand this better ( if this is what you need! )

Hi Rashmi,

"How can create new Iflow with same sender details."

--> you can't.

This is because in PI the following 3 things together must be unique:

- Sender System + Sender Interface + Sender Interface Namespace

Why do you want to create a new iflow when the sender system and IDOC is same ? you just need to add your receiver to the existing flow.

However you can use Virtual receiver concept to create iflow with same sender details but using virtual receiver and creating 2 flows will result in conflict as both the flows will be triggered whenever and that idoc is sent from ERP system.
