SAP System says "No design documents assigned" in Material master Basic data2 view

Hi All,

While uploading a 3D CAD file using VDI upload client, VE Generator is assigning the material number in document created by VEG in DMS. Material master is also created by system with same material number in DMS document. However system says "no link" in material master basic data2 view at "Design documents assigned" section.

Is it possible to establish the link between document created in DMS at Material master basic data2 view by assigning the document number in Material master basic data2 view?

Hi Janagi,

it should be possible (I haven't configured it).

VEG must set the CADKZ in DRAW table.

I found it in the build Structure xml: Attribute Name="CADINDICATOR" Value="X" Category="DRAW"

But you also have to do the customizing in Logistics General, Material Master,  Basic Settings, make global settings, std document type
