Issue in adding KM SCAs as dependencies

Hello Experts,

We are migrating some of the KM applications from portal 7.01 to 7.5. The applications were showing dependencies for KM components.

We don't have NWDI in our landscape. So we downloaded SCAs (KMC-BC, KMC-CM) from Service Market Place and imported them into NWDS under development infrastructure perspective. Changed the property of Archive store to downloaded file location.

No when I'm trying to add the KMC DCs as dependency for another project, popup view 'Add Dependencies' does not have the KMC SCA available there. Can anyone please suggest if there is any other setting I need to make the SCA available in the list?

Does this approach actually work or as I don't have NWDI, should I just add the required km jars as external libraries?

Any suggestion is much appreciated.

We need to make KM SCs as dependent SCs in MyComponents and we can see the SCs in the Add Dependency tab
