how to read characteristics values from CV01N while saving

Dear Team,

Can anyone help me on how to read characteristics values from CV01N while saving ? i.e i need to do validations for characteristics while saving document in CV01N.

I used BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL but it will only get details after saving the document.

Please check BADI DOCUMENT_MAIN01 method BEFORE_SAVE the data you need should be available in it.
