SAP PI 7.3 TO 7.4 upgrade Dualstack

Hello All,

I'm working on an upgrade project from PI 7.3 to 7.4 Dualstack. Mostly the interfaces are from FILE to SFTP with PGP used.

Can you guide me through the process what all changes needs to be done in ESR and ID. What challenges do we face in Upgrade Project.

Hello Sharvan,

There shouldn't be much challenge as your just upgrading the version with dual stack.

since most are file to SFTP ESR and ID part also will remain the same.

what about the ESR part will there be any changes and even we are moving the PI system to SAP HANA cloud . Does cloud migration will have the same changes.

ESR will remain the same if ur moving to PI 7.4

Upgrading PI as well as moving to HCI

For HCI you can use the service implementations,But ID part you need to configure new as in HCI it is different.
