SAP HANA XS SSL Configuration

Dear all,

I am trying SSL configuration for HANA XS  engine to set up hybris Marketing 1605. (HANA SPS 11)

Following the manual "How to configure SSL for HANA XS Engine using SAP Crypto libraries"

According to manual, to configure SSL, "SSL Evaluation Certificate (SAPNetCA.cer)" is needed.

I try to download SAPNetCA.cer from http://service.sap.com/Trust  (Now replaced to "https://service.sap.com/tcs)

(See attached screen)

But I cannot find suitable link now. (No SAP SSL Test Server CA certificate link)

Does anyone know where to get  certificate file ?

As far as I know, this SAP SSL Test Server CA Certificate has been removed in new site.

Actually I saw that SSL Test Server CA Certificate is disappeared in new site.

Then, how can I configure SSL configuration without CA Certificate ?

Hi Kinichi,

You can use the self-signed certificate or send the certificate requests to a CA instead.

Hi Kinichi,

As Ning mentioned, you have 2 options depending on your requirement:

1) For testing purpose, you can use a self signed certificate

There is an open source application (https://www.openssl.org/) to create it. The comprehensive openssl commands are available at https://www.madboa.com/geek/openssl/.

2) For productive usage, it is recommended to get a certificate signed by CA (VeriSign, GoDaddy, DigiCert, etc.).
