Hi experts,
This is a pass through scenario where we are picking a file using file (FTP) adapter. I'm referring to sender channel when we ping channel it says that FTP connection can be created, the directory exists and the files are readable.
But the channel status will be in red color and it says processing started, retry interval is 60 seconds and then it gives an error message "com.sap.engine.inetrfaces,messaging.api.exception.messaging exception.......".
When we put our cursor on it, it says "http://sap.cpm/xi/XI/system is currently not started".
You can see the attached screenshots for more information.
Please reply ASAP.
Thanks,
Vidhya Nizamkar
Hi Vidhya,
I've seen similar errors repeatedly and the root cause in most cases was that the application was not started. In your case the application would be com.sap.aii.adapter.file.app Go to NWA -> Operations -> Systems-> Start&Stop-> Java Applications and search for com.sap.aii.adapter. This way you will see what type of adapters are not running on your system and you can start them.

Hi
Check below link and thread
Configuring the Sender File Adapter - Advanced Adapter Engine - SAP Library
Connection SOAP_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System is ... | SCN
Also, the namespace should be http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File??

Hi Prithviraj,
I'm referring to passthough scenario so it should not be an issue with any interface connected to that channel.
And "http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File" is not a namespace. When you select adapter type as file, you can see this link in the second column. and third column will be "SAP BASIS 7.31". You can refer the attachment.
It says that this system is currently not started, Can you tell me where can I find this system status?
Thanks,
Vidhya Nizamkar
