Not automatically updating ZPR0 & EK02 Condition for my Order

Hello Guru's,

1) ZPR0( Condition Type copied from PR00) : this is a base price which is mandatory in order creation. I have maintained a condition record, but some how it is not automatically picking up.

Business Process: As we are using variant configuration, KMAT material will be converted to Material Variant (FERT: finished product). We are using z program for this. we get a quotation which is created in the front end . which will be sent to SAP for order creation process. initial quotation consists Configurable Material (KMAT). We use this Quotation to convert it into Material Variant using z program as mentioned above.  while creating order we use this quotation as reference. which will automatically suggests material variant created in above process. we use that material variant to create order.

Observations1: During this process ZPR0 (Base Price) is not getting picked up automatically. but if I do Update prices ( l B: Carry out new pricing) ZPR0 is picked up.

Observation 2: if i don't take quotation reference, directly use created material variant then ZPR0 price picked up automatically.

2) EK02 (Calculated Cost): During the above process we need have EK02 calculated cost as well. this is the process to know the profit margin. this is also not updating automatically during order creation.

Observations: I did cost run for the components involved in the BOM individually and on Material variant as a whole (Which consists all the BOM components). still it is not taking EK02 automatically.

but, if I run manually in the order : Extras --> Costing then I can able to get EK02 calculated cost.

this should happen automatically. I don't know the way forward to get this automated.

I need to create a production order once above steps complete. if i am doing these manually I can able to create but, this should happen automatically.

If I were you, as a start, I would check the pricing type in VTAA, the z-program and then use PRCAT to check for custom code in RV61AFZA, RV61AFZB, MV45AFZZ and so on.

Did you check the Analysis screen from condition tab for this?

check Copy control from Quotation to Order and check the PRICING field, it should be set as CARRY OUT NEW PRICING as you are doing manually

2) EK02 (Calculated Cost

EK02 is updated either from Service Orders or Project Order which will post Actual cost to the Sales order

Hi,

It is not required for everything time to carry out new pricing. there is no problem in copy control.

for EK02 cost run needs to happen before creating the sales order. we are using production order BOM explosion not sales order BOM. for material variants cost run is mandatory to create production order. this production order goes to shop floor.
