Unexpected error when processing request for service. Contact your administrator. (COR-10868) (COR-10869) in SAP DS 4.2 SP4 & SAP IS 4.2 SP7?

Hi Experts,

We are currently useing

SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.2

Version: 14.2.0.1855

SAP Data Services 4.2 SP4

and SAP Information Steward 4.2 SP7.

When I login Information Steward and select any project it shows the following error,

Unexpected error when processing request for service. Contact your administrator. (COR-10868) (COR-10869).

I checked in CMC --> Application --> Information Steward --> View Data Services Server, it close automatically and re-start automatically.

As far as I know, both DS and IS should be on same version.You may want to upgrade DS to 4.2 SP7 and check.

Upgrade SAP Data Services from DS 4.2 SP04 to DS 4.2 SP07 getting same error.

You need to upgrade DS repository as well if not done. You can do it from DS repository manager.

Same thing for IS repository - IS repository upgrade steps are available in Admin guide.

Hello,

Both Dirk & Dhareppa are correct. You should be using the same Service Pack level for both DS & IS.

But even MORE important is the version of DS you're using (4.2 SP4) is NOT compatible with BI Platform 4.2 SP2.

Before installing BI Platform/IPS, IS, & DS you must always consult the following compatibility matrix first:
