Hello Guys,
I'm working on a project for implementation in paint factory.
We have a situation that is as follows:
The semi-finished it is packed in various types of packaging. It happens that at the end of the production of semi-finished no one knows for sure the volume produced. Then the customer confirms the quantity produced equal to the quantity planned. However, in pack process verifies that was produced more or less relative to the quantity planned.
As you have handled this situation? Back in the semi finished order and fix the amount indicated? Consume all semi finished in filling orders making manual adjustments? Any other ideas?
Any suggestion is welcome.
Thanks
Tati
Hi Tati,
If this is in the context of SAP ME, then packing process validates only the limits (Min and Max) of the container, with no regard to planned vs produced qty of the order. So, if you specify ultimate values for Min and Max, you will be able to pack as many units into a single container as needed.
If your question is about ERP, you'd rather re-post it to a space dedicated to a proper ERP module.
Regards,
Sergiy
