Additional checks for engineering records

Dear experts,

I have to implement additional customer checks for status changes in the ECR header. I was looking for user-exits, BAdI's etc. of engineering records, but I couldn't find anything.

So, are there extisting BAdI' or something else for ECR (e.g. at the point of save) where I can do this checks?

Hi Ralph,

Please check Enhancement Point /PLMB/BA_SAM_STATUS_CHANGE . There you can find two BADIs /PLMB/BA_SAM_AFTER_STATUS_CHG and /PLMB/BA_SAM_BEFORE_STATUS_CHG.

   These two BADIs are useful for adding customer specific checks during status changes.
