Oracle Data Guard

hi i am planning to do oracle data guard , i am using ERP ECC 6 on oracle 11g

- what is the best practice? is there any guide i can follow ?

- can i do that using the RMAN or i have to use BRTOOLS ?

i think it use the RMAN and i think that way i will lost my sap support

Hi Patrick,

Why you will lost support? As per SAP note 105047, it does not say you won't get support when using data guard.

By the way regarding the brtools/rman, I think this can help

i meant when using Rman not the data guard itself
