EWM Batch Creation

In EWM currently we create internal batch number and manually input vendor batch. I would like to switch off the internal batch and replace vendor batch. That means Vendor Batch "james" will automatic default to Batch. Both column Vendor Batch and Batch = "James". Any impact ? All advice welcome. Thanks

Hello James,

Vendor batch number you can give any thing .

But coming to internal batches they are crucial because for internal batches in EWM you have to maintain same number ranges in ECC but as a external number ranges.

Else it will not updated to ECC.
