Import Return Code : 8

Hello Experts,

I created a new role and released the TR to QA. However while importing the TR, it gives Return code : 8. What to do? please suggest

Hi,

First Contact your SAP basis guys, they will be able to help to know the exact issue with transport and can import changes by other ways referred in below links and other scn blogs.

return code 8 when we import transport request ... | SCN

Thanks for taking this up, Nitesh. It seems that there is no issue with the Import rather with the Role itself. I have come to this groud because of the import error as follows:

"Error occurred during post handling PRGN_AFTER_IMP_ACTGROUP_ACGR for ACGR L"

I rechecked in SCN and found the S-note 1014969 however when i checked the Note, it gives me the max version for SAP_BASIS as 700 while for me its already 740. Hope it will help you guide me better.
