Hi All,
We recently upgraded our NW 7.4 system to NW 7.5.
We had latest version of SAPXI3RDPARTY Component available in stack file and in download directory but still we can see after the successful upgrade SAPXI3RDPARTY component is on its older version.
Can you suggest if there is any limitation of this component to be upgraded with stack or any trick which needs to be done for its upgrade.
Also now when we have our system upgraded, Should we run SUM again now for just this component upgrade or we have any better alternative available.
Regards,
Shivam

Dear Shivam,
SAP Note 1335523 states the SAPXI3RDPARTY is no Java Software Components but contains only empty SDA wrappers.
The "Software Update Manager" (SUM) doesn't deploy the wrapper SAPXI3RDPARTY to avoid that an existing driver gets overwritten by mistake during an Upgrade.

Mate

Hi Shivam,
Was the target release and SP level for SAPXI3RDPARTY latest in the PREP_EXTENSION\SELSTACKXML_READ. Was there any error during the upgrade procedure.
You can also refer to below note for deploying it now.

Thanks,
Manas
