Unable to add WBS Element to Contract Line Item

Hi All,
We have created a WBS Element in PS Module. Now, we want to attach it to contract line items. But, in VA41/VA42 whenever you fill anything in Line Item WBS Element Field, it becomes blank and grays out.

Kindly, help. What might be the problem.

Alternatively, what;s the best way to integrate PS and SD(Contracts)

Hi Sourav,

First of all, make sure your WBS is relevant for Billing element and it is in Release status.

If that is already done, then check whether schedule category/requirement type is getting determined in your sales contract. If that is determining, then make sure they(schedule category/requirement type) should not determine for your contract and try.

If doesn't solve your query. Then kindly elaborate your business process and what are you trying to do?.

Thanks., You were right.
Now, we are facing another issue. When we are creating a Service Order and assigning the contract and the line item, we are not able to release the Service Order.

Business Process: We need to do a Statistical WBS Element and make it flow from Contract->Service Order-> Debit Memo Request->Invoice
