Stock Segment Column in WM Physical Inventory List (LI04)

Hi Expert team,

While printing Physical Inventory List from SAP using LI04, we are noticing that the value of SU number is getting overwritten ( we use 20 Character SU number but the last 4 characters of SU number are getting truncated) by "999999" value populated under "Stock Segment" column. Pls refer to the screenshot below.

Pls note that this transaction or the output is standard output and has not be modified in our company. We tried searching on the details of this specific column and why it is getting populated in SCN but could not find anything.

1) What is the purpose of this column (Stock Segment)?

2) Is this a newly added column by SAP? If yes, is it related to "Segmentation" functionality introduced by SAP?

3) How can we prevent overwriting of SU number with this "999999" value? (Any configuration or otherwise)

Additional Information:

SAP System - SAP ECC 6.0 Ehp7 SPS07

Appreciate your help and inputs in resolving this issue.

Since it is unmodified standard code you can only get a solution from the source: SAP

So you would need to search SAP Marketplace and if nothing found you have to open a call yourself.

You have luck twice, that somebody else had already made this call at SAP, and that I search for you. I only entered LI04 into the search field and my first hit was: 2194781 - Storage Unit number truncated in LI04 print - WM
