how to find and apply OSS notes ?

hi i was having a problem with the country field while creating customer (xd01). i was given suggestion to apply OSS Note 499981. where can i find the oss note and how to apply it ?

You require to take the OSS User ID / Password of the client to access service.sap.com

You can ask the basis person to apply notes or Abaper to do the Code Correction.

if u are client place u may get a id frm them to access your oss notes or certified member may be havingn access this site so approach them for username .

Hi Madan,

You can find the OSS notes in the following weblink www.service.sap.com. However, to access the OSS notes you need an user id and password which is provided by SAP for certified consultant or by the client for whom you are working.

If required do let me know your SAP version so that I could send the OSS notes to you.
