Network and Multi heuristic is not working for the subcontract scenario for a product

Hello,

This is subcontract scenario,

When we run location heuristic for location it generates the purchase requisition at the Key figure Distribution receipt(Subcontractor Planned) with source of supply(Vendor), but when we run network heuristic or Multi Heuristic for first two months generating PR's at correct Key figure Distribution receipt(Subcontractor Planned) with source of supply(Vendor)and the third week we can see in both key figures for example 5040 are PR's the 5000 is showed in Distribution receipt(Subcontractor Planned) and remaining in Distribution receipt(Planned) with missing source of supply(Vendor )and rest of the PR's are generated at Distribution Receipts(Planned) without source of supply (Vendor).

We checked the master data everything is fine and we have are facing issue with only one product.

The issue is : There are two subcontracting BOM's, one that this item is an output and other with it as a input. Thus this item has transportation lanes both to and from subcontracting vendor.

Hi,

Based on the inputs what ever you have provided could you please once again check the master data. Specially with reference to the PDS/PPM and the transportation lane validity.

If this is not working, delete the required master data in APO and re-cif everything completely in the correct sequence. Try running Rimodini most of the time. This should work.

As I checked the Tlanes and PDS there validity's are fine, User may ask if the master data is fine why you are deleting the master data and why you are doing again Rimodini.

Hi Ravi,

Before going into further details, can I know what is the business scenario here and why you are running Location Heuristic and using Network or Multi Heuristic. It would be good if you could let us know if you are maintaining the same master data or you are using a different set of data also do let us know if you are doing in interactively or via background.  Also if you have implemented any BADI's.

Are you running low level code ?

In case of Network Heuristic or Multi Heuristic if you have circular lanes or improper lanes or non availability of Low Level Code it will give incorrect source determination.
