Dear colleagues,
Im trying to get a new created WDJ application on a SAP EP 7.4 SP12 with IE 11 running. I developed this one using NWDI envorinment of my customer, means created an appropriate DC, created all applications, views etc. I need. I can build and deploy this WDJ without any issue's, but if I start my application from PCD Im running in following exception:
|
Obviously, lack of WCMException isnt my issue, since I can import this class manually in an arbitrary class within my WDJ project. So, at the end: what does this weard exception is trying to tell me? How do you guys generally are handling exception's in WDJ without any reference to the actually problem, means what is the right approach to solve this kind of problems? Thank you,
cheers

Dear Lawrence ,
Hope you are doing good.
As you would be aware, a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError exception is thrown if the Java Virtual Machine or a ClassLoader instance tries to load in the definition of a class (as part of a normal method call or as part of creating a new instance using the new expression) and no definition of the class could be found.
Just check the available containers on the system.
Connect to the J2EE server via telnet by using J2EE Engine admin account.
jump to a server node: jump 0
add deploy command group: add deploy
get a list of all available containers: container_info -a
Also do try a restart of the service using : startservice <service name>.
Please have a look at SAP Note 1270242 for more on these steps.
Hope this helps.

Thank you guys, but none of your clues has lead to success. At the end I was able to solve through stubborn and time-consuming manuall rebuild of appropriate WDJ. The trick was: I have removed the incoming plugs in affected window and created them again exactly the way they were modeled. Rebuild the project, redeployed - voila
cheers
