maximum number of messages in restart job

Hi.

We have a lot of messages, that we want to restart. And 4 nodes.

When one node not working we have error like "Failed to execute restart job. Failed to restart message remotely on cluster node. Reason: no listener on the destination [207888888] for service [com.sap.aii.af.ms.svc]

Am I right that all messages in this failed job didn't restart? Or some restart, some not?

And

We really miss the parameter that sets the maximum number of messages that are processed at a time in restarting job. This would reduce the load and increase assurance that the job will be executed and messages retriggered

Dear Artem,

Has the MAX-RESTART parameter configured? As far as I know it is not possible to configure maximum number of messages, but you can configure that how many times the restart will perform.

Maybe a workaround should be if you define one restart job for one scenario with specifying rules. In this case not only one restart job have to restart all of the messages.

Best regards,

Bence
