Hang at phase MAIN_SHDIMP/GETSYNC_PREUP_FINI_D

I am upgrading patches tp SP14 in SOLMAN system, but at the phase MAIN_SHDIMP/GETSYNC_PREUP_FINI_D it is taking too much time as expected. its seem's that stuck at this phase

Just now took transaction log backup in sybase and also restart the SAP system, but no luck

Please help to resolve if anyone have face this similar issue.

After checking sapup file i have got message like " java has status waiting another five minutes". i just edited the SYNC.DAT file & put entry of that phase as "finished" as per below thread'

Hi Tabish,

You have to rename the SYNC.DAT file to SYNC.DAT_old and retry the SUM tool.

Hopefully this will resolve your issue.

Thanks for time, i am go ahead with that phase but in java its error occuring "Validating Java development components" 

The following problem has occurred during step execution: com.sap.sdt.jspm.service.JspmServiceException: Checking of deployment queue completed with error.

Cannot connect to SDM on host SIMSOL and port 50018.

I am unable to find any SDM service in SAP MMC & also i am not able to find instance 00 while i am in Execution phase in ABAP.
