SAP Fiori Licensing

Former Member

Hi All,
We are planning to implement fiori into our landscape. We currently have SAP ECC 7.4 and SAP SuccessFactors license for 300 Users.
So now the questions are:
a) Will Fiori be free for all those 300 Users?
b) We also have Salesforce CRM users who don't have a SAP User Id and Password. Can they access the Fiori Apps with a Service Account without a SAP License.
c) What if we can create custom UI5 Apps that look like Fiori( SplitApp etc. ) and don't install Fiori. Can we then extend those apps to Non SAP Users?

These questions are very important because it will determine whether we want to go forward with Fiori or not. Kindly, advise.

Thanks
Sahil

a. You should be discussing this with your SAP Account rep.

c. Yes. You can use OpenUI5 and do this quite easily for non-SAP apps and/or use Gateway+SAPUI5 for apps  that "expose" SAP data for non-SAP "users"....heck, you could even build simple ABAP web services and expose them to consume however you like for whatever user(s).
