Help needed connecting to S/4HANA 1511 On-Prem for first time

Hi,

I have just installed S/4Hana On-Prem which is awesome!  I need your help with connecting to the system for the first time.  I am trying to connect with SAPGUI since we will need to access se38.  Any help is greatly appreciated!

This is the status of my system HDB and S/4HANA are on the same host.

This is my SAPGUI Info.  I tried to connect with Instance 00,01, and 02.  I am using a local ip 192.168.*.* for the application server.

Hi Timothy,

The instance number for SAP GUI connection should be 01 in your case.

Thank you for you help.  This is the message I get

This is normally what I would expect if i had the wrong connection information.  I am trying to connect from my PC to the VM.

Hi Timothy,

Please check if firewall is opened in SLES (yast2 -> Security and Users -> Firewall)?

Is 192.168.xx.xx reachable?

Thank you so much.  I disabled the firewall and the SAPGUI is now able to connect!
