Estimated database size Oracle Solaris

Hello experts,

I'm trying to install an SCM 7.0 EHP4 with Oracle 12.c and Solaris 11.3 in my testing environment using a Virtual Machine.

In the installation, the tool SWPM shows me the Estimated Database Size in GB with a value that i can't edit (and it's huge for my test , 586GB). During the Execute Process in the Create/check Tablespace phase, the tools creates a lot of tablespaces, consuming a lot of hard disk space and i don't need that (it's only a test installation)

I tried with advanced DB Configuration and i can't edit this value

How can i edit this Estimated Database Size? I only need to finalize the installation

Any suggestions or ideas?

Thanks a lot in advance

Best regards

Hi Josep,

Can you leave it alone?

If you have chosen option Advanced DB Configuration -> Create Tablespaces, you can delete unwanted data files to be created.

Hi Josep,

Estimated Database Size is new, please refer to my installation screenshot: I do not have it

Please check if you can find Estimated Database Size in control.xml or dialog.xml

James
