hierarchical representation in datetime

Hi,

    can we able to create separate field for month and year using Given date in the data while data modelling in information design tool.

Hi gokul,

  you can create separate field for month and year with the date column. Here are the steps below.

1. first of all the DATE  should be in DATETIME  datatype then

2. right click on the date column you can see the option you can see (Insert time column)

3. click on year or month which you need, then the separate column will be created in the same table.

yeah you can do for geographical view in hierarchical format, before that u have to change the datatype format in database where u have imported the data. datatype should be in country format.
