I am new to security and would like to gather some info. about R/3 security.

SAP Help is a good place to start:

You would also do well to track down copies of:

- Authorizations Made Easy (this is a popular reference document)

- SAP Security Guides Vol 1 - 3

There are a few books from SAPPress too.

There are also various guides & tips on sites like sapfans, sapsuperusers, ITToolbox SAP Security forum etc.

If you type SAP Security Transactions into your favourite search engine then you will also get lots of info.

Furthermore courses ADM940, 950 & 960 all cover various aspects of security
