HANA - optimized BI Content - BI_CONT 757 SP14

Hello all, here will expose some doubts and cross fingers for sdn community´s helpful input

• We are in BW on HANA:

               SAP BI               740  SP14

               SAP BI_CONT   757 SP08

And want to implement the HANA Optimized BI_CONT, but after reading SAP Docu that are a bit confused after reading different SAP Documents,

• The New SAP HANA - optimized Business Content with BI Content 7.57 SP06 + SP07

          Turn on Business Function„SAP HANA-optimized BW Content obsolete / IMO/BW_CONTENT_OBSOLETE“

           to find and activate corrections for the obsolete content in  transaction RSOR  available >=

           BI Content 7.57 SP06 forSAP BW 7.40

Someting already mentioned in sdn posts like:

but when reading some other documents like note:

• 2257232 - Do not activate Business Function /IMO/BW_CONTENT

          that seems to me we should be activating -> /IMO/BWCONTENT:

          We strongly recommend, that Customers, which have not activated the old Industry Business Function /IMO/BW_CONTENT yet, should           instead activate the Enterprise Business Function /IMO/BWCONTENT after importing one of the below mentioned support packages as soon           as the are available.

But turns out to be we do not have /IMO/BWCONTENT, but instead have another one called /IMO/BW_CONTENT_OBSOLETE which seems came on BI_CONT 757.

As has the sufix _OBSOLETE that to be honest, does not inspires me lot of trust in it.

Moreover, it seems we have to implment both asseem a requirement:

Anyone who has gon through a similar issue ?

Should we activate both ?

Recommendation

We recommend that you use the new data flows. However, if you are using the previously shipped SAP HANA-optimized BI Content data flows / objects and do not want to switch to the new data flows yet, the content is still available and will be supported by the next support packages. To be able to activate the previous SAP HANA-optimized BI Content data flows or corrections shipped by SAP, you need to turn on the Business Function SAP HANA-optimized BW Content obsolete /IMO/BW_CONTENT_OBSOLETE.

So seems the /IMO/BW_CONTENT_OBSOLETE is the way to go, at least in our scenario where we did not activate any BI CONT Hana optimized.
