Consuming lot of space in C drive

Hi Folks,

Please assist me,below iqtmp files takes large size,due to this my C drive is full and if I move this to D drive ,document will not open in PA?

Hi Naveen Kumar,

This is the expected behavior from IQ, actually I do have the exact same files. Is it an option for you to uninstall on C & reinstall on D?

It is already installed in D but still these files are created in C only.

Hi,

You also need to update the PredictiveAnalysis.ini file and update the path for the entries starti with hilo.

Some are pointing to user.home for example.

The problem is that the IQ database is created at installation time. Are you suggesting to update some setup files?

Hi,

No, just the SAPPredictiveAnalysis.ini in the Expert directory.

I think you can move the following directory to your D drive:

     %LOCALAPPDATA%\SAP\PA

then change the following property:

     -Dhilo.appdata.dir=%LOCALAPPDATA%\SAP\PA

in the SAPPredictiveAnalysis.ini file.

I did once already for the same reason and it worked.
