Upgrading Fiori components UIHR001 and GBX01HR

Hello!

The question is related to the product SAP FIORI FOR SAP ERP HCM 1.0. I need some clarifications for a possible upgrade.

The customer's systems are:

• Gateway
  • GWFND 740 SP10.
  • SAP_UI 740 SP 12.
  • UIHR001 rel 100 SP 00.
  • SAPUI5 is on level 1.28.21.
• Backend ERP 6 EhP7.
  • GWFND_740 SP09.
  • SAP_UI 740 SP 08.
  • GBX01HR rel 600 SP 00.
  • SAP_HR rel 604 SP 66.

I can see that there are now SP5 available for these components:

• UIHR001 100: Support Package 0005
• GBX01HR 600: Support Package 0005

1. Is upgrading SP level of components UIHR001  and GBX01HR actually the same as upgrading the whole product "SAP FIORI FOR SAP ERP HCM 1.0"? If not, do we need to worry about the latter?
2. Does upgrading these components retain all HCM customizing related to the leave and time management? I.e. is the upgrade purely technical?
3. Is it necessary to upgrade any other components besides these? For example GWFND or SAP_UI?

Hi Ossi,

1. In my view, yes in term of the technology.

2. Sorry, I'm not sure.

3. You can use MOPZ or maintenance planner to calculate the downloaded parts and dependencies.
