Item category not visibile in GTS. STPO-POSTP

Dear,

ECC field STPO-POSTP Item Category BOM has important information for Preference Determination.

However it seems not possible to transfer this together with ECC BOM.

Any guidance how we can get this ECC info in GTS?

Hi Henrique,

As you've probably already concluded, there's no obvious or easy way to transfer the BoM Item Category.  But you can filter the transferred items based on that field in the User-Exit (Function Module EXIT_SAPLSLL_LEG_BOMR3_003) - for example, to remove Text items.

May I ask: for what purpose would you use field POSTP if it was transferred to GTS?

we would use it to determine minimal operations in GTS.
