InfoSteward Metadata Management unresponsive

Hi,

We are trying navigating objects within the Metadata Management tab for a bit the system becomes unresponsive and the user loses the ability to view connections let alone navigate to another tab.  Essentially the user must refresh the browser tab and restart the session.  This behavior has been verified by more than one user in both X and P.

To replicate please navigate to Metadata Management, select a table, and add a column to the object tray.  Now try to navigate to another table, or back to the Metadata Management directory, or to another module like Data Insight.  You should notice that you are unable to navigate as the screen will not refresh.

Please advise on this?

what version of IS and what browser it is - a similar issue may have been fixed in recent versions.

Thanks for your reply.

We are using IS 4.2 SP7 and Internet Explorer 10.

I have restarted the complete server for resolve the issue, But no luck.

Please suggest on this?

looks like you have IS repo as Hana 1.0 revision 12 - which is not tested\ supported with IS 4.2 SP7 - that might be part of the problem.
