DBMS client for SAP IQ

Hi guys,

I am looking for GUI client for SAP IQ, to create tables, edit fields, query tables and all the database management what do you recommend? I am looking for the equivalent of SQL Server Management Studio for SQL Server (just an example).

There is a simple GUI tool called dbisql that you can use for entering SQL DDL and DLM commands:

Hi Courtney, thank you for your reply. I've noticed Interactive SQL is installed and so is Sybase Central but I was hoping for a more visually attractive tool as I am used to other technologies (oracle and sql server) and tools like SQL Developer, SQL Server Management Studio or even Toad.

Cockpit and dbisql comprise IQ's native tool suite.  Instead of client tools, most of the R&D went to building a powerful server, with great scalability and ad hoc query performance.  SAP PowerDesigner might be an additional option for you.  This is a comprehensive modelling product that works with IQ, and is very popular with our IQ customers.
