SAP Fiori Factsheet Application - Popup appearing asking for credentials for backend system

Dear Experts,

We have configured search connector for FI and MM fiori factsheets. We have central gateway in place.

We have configured web dispatcher which redirects factsheet apps to backend system.

We are facing issue that as soon as we click on search button it asks for backend user credentials.

There is no https configuration done.

Is it required to do https configuration for factsheets application ?

and if not how to eliminate this popup which is asking backend credentials ?

Please help.

Please configure SSO as per Disclaimer - SAP Help Portal Page -> 5 Single Sign-On (SSO) with SSO2.
