ADGI to IM Storage location after GR of HU without Putaway

Hi,

I am trying to do ADGI to IM location of HU. Goods receipt is happened for HU w/o Putaway against Inbound delivery.

ADGI transaction neither showing any log nor doing anything.

Any has faced this issue then let us know.

You said you are doing AGI to IM location  ?  Right

So if you are issuing it to IM location there won't be any putaway against Inbound delivery.

Check the material document in ECC MB51 transaction for the same.

Process is:

1) Against IBD, I have done Packing and created HU.

2) I completed GR in EWM.

3) I want to issue this HU's qty to IM Location. But before Putaway in EWM.

Hello Dhaval,

before you can post any gods issue, you must remove the assignment of the stock to the inbound delivery. This is done with the putaway step.

If you do not want to use putway at all, you have to remove the status types and the quantity rules from the respective profiles of the item type.

OK.

But how you can give the destination location in ADGI ?

Did you did Goods Receipts for this delivery ?

If GR is done and stock is updated to EWM Sloc you can do sloc to sloc.

Hi,

the only proper advice in this whole list is the answer from Katrin. Because you have not done putaway (and the product has not arrived at a final bin), the stock still belongs to the inbound delivery. So you can not do a posting change the way you want to.

I think your requirement sounds like as mentioned by Sandip.S. it is very simple. Please let us know exact process and steps you guys are performing to get the best advise on this.

Hi,

Requirement is like:

1) WH receives a stock lot at end of each shift.

2) Physically by counting no. of pallets they will do GRN for full inbound delivery in GR staging area. (Clicking Goods receipt under IBD)

3) then, they will move HU's to WH Bin. (putaway)

But w/o putaway, from GR area itself, we want to move it to IM Location (for XYZ Reason).

Hi Dhaval,

Your requirement is quite simple but I feel your process steps are making it complex. If I am guessing correct then XYZ reason must be your quality check in ECC

Why cant you do the GR in IM location first with HU or without HU because of XYZ reason and then move it to EWM location for putaway.??
