Hi,
I am working in CHARM configuration , i am not clear about LMDB part. Can anyone please explain about it and also share any documents related to that.
Hi Selva,
LMDB is a repository of system data in the Solution Manager. It is fed by the SLD and via outside discovery, which is a Diagnostics Agent application that performs enrichment of the data in the LMDB.
To have the data in the LMDB, you have to register the system in the SLD, and make sure that you performed the system preparation and basic configuration in transaction SOLMAN_SETUP.
This wiki shows how to define each product type in the LMDB:
Maintenance of Product in the System Landscape - SAP Solution Manager Setup - SCN Wiki

Hi Selva,
you need to connect all systems to solman e.g ERP DEV/QA/PRD etc and this is all documented in LDMB via SLD
I hope and assume you have implemented all the configurations in Solman_setup i.e.
system preparation
Basic Configuration
and managed system configuration(this covers all the necessary pre-steps for charm as well including RFC connections etc)
further you can run charm setup from solman_setup
pls check wiki and guides
Initial setup for Change Request Management - Solution Manager - SCN Wiki
Hope this helps
thanks
