Notifications - Add "Reason for Request" text

Hello,

Just curious if anyone has ever successfully added the "Reason for Request" description text into a notification?  Below would be an example with the extra text in red photo-shopped into the email view.

You can check the function module GRAC_NOTIF_VAR_RULE_AR. The REQUEST_REASON notification variable has been delivered in SAP note 1971842. In case you use a custom function module as Notification Variables Rule in your MSMP workflow, then you need to apply the same.

Hi Anthony,

You can include the Request reason in the email notification using %REQUEST_REASON% notification variable.

I just did a test in my system(GRC 10.1 SP11) and seems to be working fine.

If you are not able to find this variable in Step 4(Variables and Templates) of MSMP you can add it using the below steps.

1. Execute T-code SM31

2. Select the view V_GRFNNOTIFVARBL and click on Maintain.

3. Make an entry of the variable REQUEST_REASON for SAP_GRAC_AR process type and Request Reason as the variable description
