unable to login to portal user id?

Hi Experts,

I am new to sap. I have install ECC 6.0 as java on windows 2008 ans ms sql server as db .when  iam trying to login throgh portal its getting error but i

am able to login through visual admin.

I tried activating SAP* User ID through Config tool and logging in but it fails as well.

                               could please tell me what would be the problem?

Dear ram,

Hope you are doing good.

Can you check the error in the traces:

/usr/sap/<SID>/JC<nr>/j2ee/cluster/server0/logs/default trace (latest).

Atach the file here if you are having any trouble with analysis.

Hi Ram,

Trying login to user "Administrator" login with the password you have provided during installation.

sap* is for abap engine.

Hi sharma,

i tried to logon administration user itself , its throwing error so activated emergency user sap* but even this one also not working
