Hi Turk,

Well, it depends what sort of answer you're looking for.  I'm tempted just to say that the incoterms are copied from the source document and transferred to GTS.  But to dig a little deeper...

The incoterms (parts 1 and 2) are copied from the ERP source document into the data structure that is transferred to GTS during the "save".  In GTS, part 1 is checked against the Code List (IMG: General Settings > Define Incoterms); if the entry exists there, parts 1 and 2 are copied into the GTS document, and the incoterms description is taken from the GTS Code List.  If the entry doesn't exist there, no copying takes place.

The incoterms are copied across in that way separately at header and item level, if available in the ERP document.

By the way, sorry if our responses aren't always as immediate as you'd like - sometimes "real life" takes priority!  And don't forget to mark where our responses are helpful - that's always a good incentive .

So we need to create Incoterms in GTS and we dont need to assign them from ECC to GTS?

Hi Turk,

You should find the full list of Incoterms already maintained in GTS (shipped as standard) - but you should check the entries against the official Incoterms 2010 list.

Nothing else should be needed, assuming that your feeder system also uses standard Incoterms.

So incoterms in GTS and ECC needs to be same? there is no mapping.

thanks.

Turk,

You should already have all the incoterms available in GTS system when you set it up.

In-case if you don't see them in your system than it's possible default configuration might be missing when they set up the system.

If you are facing the above situation check with your Basis team or if you have access to 000 client of GTS and then compare both of them.

Below is the screen how it should look like. Once you have them available you don't have to map anything between ECC and GTS. It's very unusual but if you see any additional incoterms  in your feeder system then update GTS config so you should be good.

Regards

Rajesh

Dear Members,

Recently, SAP launched a new Note describing Updates in Incoterms 2020. We thought SAP would release a note that could automatically update the FuBa using Incoterms in Intrastat + GTS. Any pointers? Should it be manually maintained in GTS?
