E-Mail notification to FF Users for Additional Information in EAM Log report Review

Hey Guys -

We are on GRC 10.1 and SP 13 and we have configured FF log report review workflow.

When the FF controller requests for additional information on a particular activity, there is no e-mail notification generated to the FF User, but the request is actually going to the FF User and the FF User is able to see it in his work inbox. With out the e-mail notification to the FF user, the FF users would never know that a request is pending in his work inbox to provide additional information. We don't see any Notifications Events for "Additional Information" in the workflow, so we tried to leverage "Forward" or "Return" for this Additional Information, but we don't find Notification Agent or standard API Agent rule for FF User. Is there any workaround or solution for this issue?

I believe since the FF LOG report initiator is not the FF USER, the notification GRAC_REQUESTOR would work as the logs are initiated by the BATCH ID normally. Also there is no agent for GRAC_USER in the FF LOG Reports review as such this is also not feasible.

Probably it has to be done outside the GRC system with an email from Controller to FF User for additional information or not sure if we can do this but have the WORK item route to the Outlook email which would mean email domain customization.

Thanks Manju for your quick reply.

I just tried with GRAC_REQUESTOR, but the e-mail notification is going to the E-Mail  maintained for the Batch ID which is running the Workflow Sync Job but not the FF User. Btw according to our design, all the FF Users have FF IDs assigned to them all the time and they don't have to request the FF ID to use it. So may be that's why in our case the GRC system is not picking the FF User for GRAC_REQUESTOR(Not sure though) .

The issue here is I don't see appropriate Agent ID for the FF User. Can you please help ?

Hi Venkata,

Hope you have activated the MSMP related BC set GRC_MSMP_CONFIGURATION without any errors.

In the stage notification settings (Step 5 of MSMP) select the recepient ID as GRAC_REQUESTOR for the forward notification event with the appropriate template ID. This should trigger a notification to the FF user when the controller needs additional information for log review.

Similarly maintain the entry for the return event with GRAC_CURRENT_APPROVERS as the recepient ID for notification to the controller when add info is returned by FF user.
