How to allow user to sort in read mode in Webi

Hi,

We have a requirement to allow a user to sort the report by different columns when a user is in read mode, since not everyone will have design access. Is this possible?

Hello Richie,

I was able to achieve this with a workaround but with few limitations but I believe you should have a good idea and may be you can extend the idea to reach the goal.

You can add as many columns per your requirement mentioned in document.

This is not available in the reading mode.You can vote for the idea.

thanks for the information. This would require them to select a field to sort every time they run the report. If they would like to change the sort order they would have to re-query the report, correct?

If the above is true, would you know of a way to re-sort without doing a refresh or re-query?

I doubt there is any other way of achieving this. May be if some one know a better way, he can share it over here
