Hi Vikas,

Can you provide more information about the scenario?  Is it a synchronous one?

Hello Mate,

QOS is BE that is its a Sync scenario, Is it so?. The error is

com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.aii.af.service.administration.api.cpa.CPAChannelStoppedException: Channel stopped by administrative task

I restarted the communication channel which shows to be up and running but the message is not be ing resent with the message

You Cannot Restatr this XML message with Staus/Type

Can I cancel the message even if its sync?

Thanks and regards,

Vikas

Hi Vikas,

BE means Best Effort so yes it is a synchronous one. You can't restart or cancel a synchronous message. The reason is that when you start a synchronous communication from the source system a response is expected from the target system and the request and response is dependent. Since the CC was not available the call is broken now so you have only one option which is to start the communication again from the sender system.

One more twist,

I cannot see those messages in SXMB_MONI now? The merror occurred around  2-3 hours back?

Where can I see these messages now?

Appreciate quick inputs.

Thanks and regards,

Hi Vikas,

What is message retention period for synchronous messages? Check that since it's possible it's set to a really low value in your case.
